I head Visa’s global central bank digital currency (CBDC) program and blockchain protocol research and development, where I work to build digital payment solutions with central banks, financial partners and global infrastructure technology companies. I lead Visa's CBDC engagements with over 40 different central banks, along with Web3 players and banks. I have published several technical whitepapers and policy papers for Visa on digital currencies and digital payments using blockchain technologies. Prior to Visa, I spent several years focused on stablecoin research and decentralized governance and Oracle design.

As Head of Digital and Authentication in Europe, I lead the development of new payment authentication solutions as well as the enhancement of existing solutions, including tokenization and 3D Secure (3DS). I have more than 16 years of leadership experience at Visa during which I helped develop payment security strategy including solutions and programs across our contactless, chip and eCommerce payment products. My most recent efforts in the development and rollout of EMV 3DS have translated into successful early adoption of the technology in Europe and across the globe.
